Photography Rate Sheet


I am not a stock photo agency and I do not do weddings. I do assignment work only.
My rates are simple, straightforward, reasonable and include unlimited/non-exclusive usage rights for one year with photo credit to Steve Bingham (www.dustylens.com.) Should you require exclusive usage of the photographs, and no photo credit, my rates are 2 times those quoted. I shoot 100% digital with Nikon D3 or D300. All files are shot in raw and processed with Photoshop CS3.

Current Photography Rate:
$750.00 / half day
$1,250.00 / full day

1st Assistant / Camera Assistant / $250.00 day / as needed (almost always needed with extensive lighting setups requiring multiple strobes and large softboxes).

2nd Assistant / $150.00 day (rarely needed)
Production Assistant (PA) / $200.00 day (rarely needed)

All post-production computer work as well as optional Photoshop work: $50.00 / hour

Files burned to disc are $25.00 each CD.

Travel: $500.00 / day for over 250 miles from Payson, Arizona.
$00.50 / mile for personal vehicle travel for those jobs within 250 miles (maximum $250 total).

Assistants are paid rate from portal to portal.

Expenses fall into production costs and stated per contract and are billed accordingly.

Terms are 50% in advance and balance before delivery.
All rates are negotiable and will be presented in contract form before work begins.
Longer assignments could dictate a lesser rate.

I have thirty years experience as a commercial photographer and a MS in Photography from
Brooks Institute of Photographic Arts and Science, Santa Barbara, Ca.
